You know that the college football season is close when the "big boy" polls start to come out and set the scene for the upcoming year.
On Tuesday morning, the US LBM Coaches Poll was released for the first time this year, giving a snapshot of where college football coaches think the power lies ahead of what is expected to be another wildly entertaining season set to come in just under a month.
It should come as no surprise that, like the media, coaches expect the Oregon Ducks to be among the best teams in the nation as well.

A year ago, Oregon opened the season as the No. 7 team in the first US LBM Coaches' Poll, which was
good for the third-best team in the Big Ten. Now, there are once again three teams from the conference rated inside the top 10, and eight total Big Ten teams in the top 25 of the coaches poll.
Over the next few days, the first AP Top 25 of the year should be released as well, where the Ducks once again project to be among the top teams.
