The Oregon Ducks have released multiple rosters this offseason, but on Wednesday night, they finally revealed the new heights and weights for every player on the 2026 roster.
Several Ducks have mentioned transforming their bodies this offseason as a key focus, either adding or shedding weight. Matayo Uiagalelei was one of the notable losers in the offseason, hoping to slim down and to become quicker and bendier on the edge. Nasir Wyatt, on the other hand, added weight to be more physical on the edge while also sliding around on defense.
With the release, we also officially learned the height and weight of the freshmen on the roster, some of whom have already seen massive transformations since arriving on campus, while others are, by nature, massive.
The entire roster is worth a look, but some players stood out more than others. Let’s take a look at some of the most notable changes and additions to the roster this season.
Notable Height/Weight Changes in 2026
- QB Dante Moore up 14 pounds to 220 pounds
- OT Immanuel Iheanacho (6-foot-6, 365 pounds)
- OT Tommy Tofi (6-foot-6, 360pounds)
- DL Matt Johnson up 24 pounds to 319 pounds
- DL Tank Jones (6-foot-3, 301 pounds)
- EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei down seven pounds to 265 pounds
- EDGE Elijah Rushing up 15 pounds to 290 pounds
- LB Nasir Wyatt up 17 pounds to 245 pounds
- S Jett Washington (6-foot-5, 217 pounds)
For starters, Dante Moore has added some weight to his frame, bumping up to 220 pounds to be able to withstand more hits and become stronger under center. Uiagalelei is the most notable decrease in weight, accomplishing the goal he set for the offseason.
Linebackers coach Brian Michalowski and edge rushers coach Kam Araghi mentioned Wyatt’s versatility and improvement in run fits this week, insinuating his potential to take snaps at inside linebacker this season. Whether he’s using his quickness off the edge or filling holes at the line of scrimmage from the inside linebacker spot, Wyatt’s big jump in weight should help him handle both roles.
The biggest increase in weight from last year to now is defensive tackle Matthew Johnson, who coaches and players have raved about since the spring. He had a big day during the spring game, and that has continued into fall camp. Dan Lanning mentioned that Johnson could see “significant snaps” this season along the defensive line as one of the Ducks’ biggest reserve options.
The freshmen really tell a massive story. Defensive line coach Tony Tuioti mentioned that Tank Jones, who came to Oregon as a recruit on the edge, was up to around 300 pounds. With the roster now officially marking the freshman from Alabama at 301 pounds, Lanning and Tuioti see a path for Jones to make an impact right away as either an edge or with a hand in the turf.
The two biggest players on the Ducks' roster this season are both freshmen. Immanuel Iheanacho and Tommy Tofi are the only Ducks listed as 360 pounds or heavier. Tofi exploded in the spring and could be on track to start on the offensive line to begin the season, while Iheanacho is still catching up after enrolling in the summer but is more than capable of filling in.
That’s two massive freshmen with NFL-ready size stepping onto campus, and they are also fluid and able to move in the run game. Both should be weapons of destruction up front as soon as this season.
Jett Washington is also one of Oregon’s tallest defenders, standing at 6-foot-5, and with 217 pounds on his frame, he can be physical in the secondary when his name is called. Freshman tight end Kendre Harrison is listed as 6-foot-7, the tallest on the team, and weighs 250 pounds. The basketball star should make an impact as the backup tight end this year.
