Another week, another round of anticipation as the weekly availability report drops for the Oregon Ducks.
After quarterback Dante Moore was announced to be done for the year
earlier this week by head coach Dan Lanning following his concussion, this week's Big Ten Availability Report ahead of the Northwestern Wildcats matchup may not have the headline guy at the top for fans to investigate, but there are many names on the list that are worth monitoring.A week ago, the Ducks went into their game against the Illinois Fighting Illini without four of their top five wide receivers, with guys like Evan Stewart, Jeremiah McClellan, Messiah Hampton, and Jalen Lott all listed as out, due to either injury or disciplinary reasons.
Now, will those guys return
in Week 9 against Northwestern? According to the availability report, things are looking up.
While we may not get the final answer on Wednesday night, the first Big Ten Availability report gives us a good look at whether or not Moore is likely going to be able to play. On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, the Big Ten Conference will release the statuses of several players, with teams classifying them as out, doubtful, or questionable.
A final availability report will then be released two hours prior to kickoff on Saturday. Here is a look at the first availability report for the Ducks and Wildcats.
