The Oregon Ducksare gearing up for their first massive game of the season, traveling down to Los Angeles for a pivotal game against the USC Trojans in Week 4. After going 2-1 in their first three games, including a tough loss to the Oklahoma State Cowboys, Dan Lanning's team needs a big win in the worst way, and following two straight losses to Oregon in the Lincoln Riley era, the Trojans are hoping to earn back some supremacy in this rivalry.
So, is it a matchup big enough to lureESPN's 'College GameDay' to Los Angeles to preview all of the action?
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear so.
On Sunday morning, ESPN announced that GameDay will be going to Knoxville, Tennessee, instead, to preview the matchup between the No. 1 Texas Longhorns and No. 15
Tennessee Volunteers. It's understandable, with the two teams among the top-ranked in the nation, battling to claim who the "real" UT is.

That doesn't make Oregon's game against USC any less important, though. After an 84-0 win over Portland State on Friday night, the Ducks may have gotten back on the horse and harnessed some momentum, but we will see what that looks like against a real team like the Trojans.
Meanwhile, USC looked great in its first three games of the year, but struggled mightily on Saturday afternoon against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights — a team regarded as the worst in the Big Ten — barely winning on the road, 42-35.
Both teams need a win in the worst way,so expect tensions to be high in Los Angeles.
