The last time the No. 23 Oregon Ducks traveled to Columbus and played a regular-season game in Ohio Stadium, they came out with an upset victory over one of the top-ranked teams in the nation. Might they be able to do it once again this year, facing the No. 11 Ohio State Buckeyes on the road this weekend?
We'll have to wait and see on that, but on Wednesday night, we finally got a glimpse at what the Ducks will be wearing for the showdown.
Oregon unveiled that it will go with its Mummy Mode 2.0 uniform combo, fit with silver helmets, white jerseys, and black pants.
There has been some speculation that Ohio State is going to pull out something fresh on the uniform front, as well. Earlier this year, they teased new "tunnel vision" all-black uniforms
to be worn this season at a home game. Seeing as the two biggest home games at the Horseshoe this year are against Oregon and then against the Michigan Wolverines, it's fair to believe there is a 50% chance the Ducks see a blackout on Saturday.
We will know more later in the week on the Ohio State front, but for now, here's a closer look at the Ducks' uniforms for Saturday:
