Well-rested and ready for the rest of the season after the bye week, the Oregon Ducks and UCLA Bruins will clash this Saturday inside Autzen Stadium. Both teams will enter the game ranked, so the stakes are higher than many expected coming into the season.
The early betting line favored the Ducks as the home team, but despite neither team playing over the weekend, Oregon's odds have slightly diminished. There is still a question about who will be at quarterback for the Ducks against the Bruins while Dante Moore recovers from a serious concussion sustained against USC. A starter has not been officially announced, but Dylan Raiola could make his first start for Oregon.
After opening as 12.5-point favorites, the spread from FanDuel Sportsbook has
fallen one point to 11.5 points in favor of the Ducks. The money line odds also shifted, with Oregon decreasing from -530 odds to -480, and UCLA improving from +390 odds to +360. The total points spread also took a slight jump, improving from 58.5 points to 61.5 points.
UCLA is undefeated so far under new head coach Bob Chesney, who has some familiarity with Autzen Stadium after taking James Madison to Eugene for the College Football Playoff last season. Plenty of James Madison players in that game are now starring for UCLA, including running back Wayne Knight, who has run for nine touchdowns this season.
The Ducks have owned the Bruins in the series since the turn of the century. Oregon has won 10 of the 12 matchups since 2000, including the last five in a row. Oregon and UCLA met as top-10 ranked foes in 2022 in Eugene, and the Ducks emerged with a 45-30 victory.
The matchup between former Pac-12 rivals will take place in Eugene in front of a national audience. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on CBS.
