The calendar is starting to fill up with game day visits this fall as the Oregon Ducks look to get off to a good start recruiting the 2028 class.
While some of Oregon's top targets are already set for visits early in the season, the Ducks did add a pair of visitors to the schedule for a marquee Big Ten matchup in November. Four-star offensive tackle Cannon Zubeck and four-star tight end Theo Schott will both make their way from the Midwest out to Eugene when the Ducks host Michigan on Nov. 14.
Zubeck, the No. 3 offensive tackle and No. 17 player overall in the class, according to Rivals, has mapped out plenty of visits for the fall, and his trip to Oregon is currently the last stop. He will stay close to home in Overland Park, Kansas, with visits to Kansas State
and Kansas. The 6-foot-7 tackle will also take trips to Iowa, Arkansas, Penn State, Tennessee, Northwestern and Oklahoma.
While the recruitment remains very open, Penn State and Oklahoma are among the programs that might have an early edge at the moment. The Ducks have rarely missed, however, when recruiting offensive linemen with coach A'lique Terry and the program has made a big effort in the Midwest in recent classes.
Schott, the No. 10 tight end in the class from Zionsville, Indiana, will also be in Eugene for Oregon's matchup against Michigan. He will visit Ohio State, Indiana, Vanderbilt and Notre Dame as well. Schott made a trip to Oregon last season and quickly developed a relationship with then-tight ends coach Drew Mehringer. Now that Mehringer is running Oregon's offense, Schott could become a bigger priority.
The 6-foot-4 tight end had 26 catches for 305 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore in high school. Schott is another Midwest target that could be tough to pull away from home, with Notre Dame pushing hard early on, but the early consideration from Oregon landed the Ducks an important visit.
