It's often fun for Oregon Duck fans to try and guess what the team will be wearing as far as uniforms go any given week, but with a late-September trip down to Los Angeles for a top-25 matchup against the USC Trojans, the answer was obvious.
The Ducks are going to Storm LA.
Back in 2012, the Ducks started their "Storm LA" tradition with a 62-51 victory over the Trojans while wearing all-white uniforms, making them look like Stormtroopers from the Star Wars franchise. This, plus Kenjon Barner's 321 yards and five touchdowns, put the "Storm LA" mantra into Oregon fans' lexicon and has created the proud tradition.
So it comes as no surprise to see the Ducks running it back this week with an all-white ensemble; however, they added a new wrinkle to the mix.
This year, we get a newly unveiled helmet for Oregon.
The Ducks are wearing their classic "chrome dome" silver lids, but this time with a dark green set of wings on the side.
