At the end of September, the Golden State Warriors will set sail for Hawaii to begin their 2026 edition of training camp before the regular season begins in October. Before training camp begins, Mike Dunleavy Jr. and Steve Kerr are busy filling out the remainder of their training camp roster. While their official 15-player roster is complete, the Warriors still have the chance to bring in players for training camp on Exhibit-10 contracts.
Following the draft, the Warriors inked a pair of undrafted free agents to Exhibit 10 deals, Wisconsin's NIck Boyd and Gonzaga's Graham Ike. Along with the pair of rookies, the Warriors also invited veteran wing Dalen Terry to training camp on an Exhibit 10. On Wednesday, the Warriors reportedly added another
player to an Exhibit 10 contract, this time a familiar face.
According to Anthony Slater of ESPN, the Warriors are signing former second-round pick Alex Toohey to an Exhibit 10 contract.
The Warriors are bringing back Alex Toohey, their 2025 second rounder, on an exhibit 10 training camp deal, per source. Toohey’s first season in the GSW program never got off the ground because of a knee injury. Was briefly on a two-way contract.

After playing professionally in Australia's NBL in from 2023 to 2025, Toohey entered the NBA draft and was selected in the second round of the 2025 draft by the Phoenix Suns and was later traded to the Warriors. Toohey went on to sign a two-way contract with the Warriors, but never appeared in an NBA game. In his rookie season with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League, Toohey suffered a season-ending knee injury and was waived.
After working back from injury, Toohey is now set to return to the Warriors for training camp in 2026.
