Despite holding their breathe with Curry leaving practice, the Warriors received positive news regarding the All-Star point guard's potential injury. Following practice, Steve Kerr told reporters in the Bay Area that it was Curry's ankle, not his knee
that caused him to leave practice. Kerr also told reporters that Curry told him he's "fine."

Curry avoiding a knee injury is appears to be a positive for the Warriors. Curry's lingering "runner's knee" injury kept him out of the lineup for 27 consecutive games last season. Curry missed a little over two months last year with patellofemoral pain syndrome in his right knee.
The Warriors will now have two days to get Curry ready for Golden State's regular-season opener against Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night in Hollywood.
