Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler III is gearing up for the 2026-27 season despite being sidelined with an ACL injury. While Butler III has yet to be cleared for on-court work with his teammates, the Marquette alum has posted plenty of training videos to social media.
This offseason, Golden State's training camp schedule will be quite a bit different, as the team plans to train in Hawaii ahead of their first preseason matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. Prior to that trip, Butler III has plans to help the Warriors strengthen their bond with one another even further ahead of a taxing 82-game season.
According to Anthony Slater of ESPN, Butler III has plans for another exclusive event, saying, "From what I've heard, he's going to gather
the team for an organized player-only event next week in Southern California just like he did last year." A year ago, Butler III had the team over to his home in San Diego, California, prior to training camp.
While Butler III may not suit up for the Warriors until January or February, the idea of bringing the team together is always an encouraging sign for fans, regardless of where Golden State may land in the Western Conference standings.
