Former Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers recently sat down with NBA Hall of Famers Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter to answer tough questions about his time with the franchise and his new role with the Philadelphia 76ers
. Myers discussed many topics, including his decision to leave the Warriors, the toughest decision he had to make while in charge and the tremendous success Golden State sustained.Myers also revealed what he misses most about his time with the Warriors, saying, “I did my job. But the thing I miss and loved most was the relationships. I don’t talk to these rings I have at my house. I don’t watch old highlights. I call Draymond Green. I call Steph Curry. I call (Andre) Iguodala. That’s what I miss.”
Despite his new
role with Philadelphia, Myers will always be remembered as the catalyst to Golden State's four championships, drafting Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green while also hiring head coach Steve Kerr.
