Yaxel Lendeborg has had a busy summer since being drafted by the Golden State Warriors. After winning the national championship at Michigan, Lendeborg was drafted No. 11 overall by the Warriors. Lendeborg wasted no time making a strong first impression with the Warriors, winning Summer League Most Valuable Player while leading Golden State to its first Summer League championship since 2013.
Following an impressive start to the summer, Lendeborg is already back on the court. Lendeborg has been in the gym, working on his game, but recently made a return to one of his home courts in New Jersey. Lendeborg recently made an appearance at a local court in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. Lendeborg played his high school hoops at Pennsauken High School.
Lendeborg wasn't the only first-round pick on the court in New Jersey. Lendeborg was joined by new Philadelphia 76ers guard Labaron Philon. Philon is from Mobile, Alabama and played in college for the Crimson Tide, but joined Lendeborg on the court in New Jersey.
