Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic, one of the league's most incredible talents, was recently asked to build his NBA Mount Rushmore. The Serbian center only included one current NBA player in his list, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry. Prior to Curry, Jokic selected Bill Russell, Michael Jordan and another former Warriors star, Wilt Chamberlain.
"I'd probably say Bill Russell, for his championship titles. Michael Jordan, because he changed basketball. Probably Wilt Chamberlain, for all his crazy numbers and stats. And I'm going to put Steph Curry, because he changed basketball and he's more or less from my generation. I played against him, and he really changed the game in his own way. Those are my four players."
When it comes to
regular season records, Jokic and Curry are neck-and-neck, as Curry holds a one-win advantage (15-14). The playoffs are a different story, however, as Jokic and the Nuggets fell to Golden State in the 2022 NBA Playoffs, meaning Curry holds a 4-1 advantage in the postseason.
