The Golden State Warriors won their third straight game Friday night, coming back from a double-digit deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers. The performance of two-time MVP Stephen Curry was a large reason why, as the former Davidson guard scored a team-high 31 points in 31 minutes to go along with six assists, four rebounds, one steal and one block. Curry's longtime running mate, Draymond Green, made his impact on the defensive end, finishing with two points, four rebounds, nine assists, three steals and one block.
Unfortunately for Golden State, the championship duo of Curry and Green will be unavailable for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The two will be rested due to injury management. Gui Santos, who continues to play
through knee tendinitis is listed as probable.
The Clippers will be shorthanded as well, missing Brandon Ingram, Max Strus, Bradley Beal and Yanic Konan Niederhauser.
