After the Heat failed to lure LeBron James to Miami for a second stint with the franchise, they've now shifted gears this summer. Following the trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Miami is in desperate need of shooting to accompany their plethora of frontcourt players.
According to the Miami Herald, acquiring former Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson remains "Miami's priority." Although Thompson has not enjoyed the same amount of success in Dallas that he did in 11 seasons with the Warriors, he remains one of the league's most efficient shooters when healthy.
In his 13-year career, the former Washington State product has knocked down 40.9% of his 3-point attempts, 48.5% of his 2-pointers and 85.8% of his free throws.
