Big Ten play is officially here for USC! After finishing their nonconference slate 3-0, the Trojans will open up conference play on the road this week at Rutgers.
Following last week’s victory over Louisiana, head coach Lincoln Riley and quarterback Jayden Maiava discussed the start of Big Ten play.
“This is what you do it for, to go into conference play, to get out on the road, which we're looking forward to,” Riley said. “So we have to have a great week and get ready for a little bit of travel out there and get ready to play.”
“I think we just have to continue to stack the days, stay the course, be present in the moment, trust our coaching, trust our preparation and take it one day at a time,” Maiava added when asked about the team’s mindset
heading into the conference opener.
Kickoff between USC and Rutgers is set for 12:30 p.m. Pacific time/3:30 p.m. Eastern time Saturday on CBS.
