On Saturday evening, the USC football team defeated Washington 25-21 at the Coliseum. With the victory, the Trojans improved to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in Big Ten play.
On Sunday, the latest college football AP Poll was released. Despite winning its game, USC actually dropped one spot, falling to No. 19 in the rankings.
The Trojans are one of six Big Ten teams currently ranked in the top 25. Joining them are No. 5 Ohio State, No. 7 Indiana, No. 13 Oregon, No. 20 Iowa, and No. 21 UCLA.
Of those five other teams, USC will face four this season. The Trojans already lost to the Ducks last week. They will host Ohio State on October 31, visit the Hoosiers on November 14, and play the Bruins at the Rose Bowl on November 28.
