The start of the 2026-2027 college basketball season is still a few months away. However, we are beginning to learn more about USC’s schedule for the upcoming year.
This past week, Jon Rothstein of CBS sports reported
that Eric Musselman and the Trojans are finalizing an agreement to face Wichita State in a nonconference matchup. According to Rothstein, the game would be played in South Lake Tahoe on November 8.In addition, we learned last month that USC will play in the 2026 Acrisure Series in Thousand Palms, California, during Thanksgiving week. On Thursday, USC announced that its opponents for the event will be South Carolina and Utah State.
The Trojans will take on the Gamecocks on November 25 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The following day,
they will face the Aggies at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Both games will air on CBS Sports Network.
USC is entering its third season under Musselman. After missing the NCAA Tournament the past two years, the Trojans are looking to make it back to March Madness in 2027.
