This week, USC will host Oregon in a West Coast clash at the Coliseum. With massive Big Ten and College Football Playoff stakes, it is certainly a huge game for both teams.
Recently, USC announced that the game is officially sold out. Following Tuesday’s practice, I asked head coach Lincoln Riley what he hopes to see from the Coliseum crowd on Saturday.
“I’ve said it over and over, when we go on the road, we’re gonna see the best of what opponents and their stadiums and their crowds have to offer,” Riley said. “When people come in here, they’ve gotta feel the same thing.
“I know our crowd, our fan base is really really excited for this game. Come in here, get behind the team, be loud, and this oughta be an electric place to play on Saturday afternoon.”
USC fans will certainly be out in full force this weekend. Now, it is up to Riley and the team to come through for them on the field.
