On Saturday night, the USC football team upset No. 2 Ohio State 30-18. With the victory, the Trojans improved to 7-2 on the season and 4-2 in Big Ten play.
On Sunday, the latest college football AP Poll was released. After dropping out of the rankings last week, USC moved back into the top 25 this week, coming in at No. 18.
Ohio State, on the other hand, fell nine spots after the loss. Despite having the same number of losses as the Trojans and losing to them head-to-head, however, the Buckeyes are still ranked seven spots ahead USC at No. 11.
After an off week this week, USC will make its final Midwest road trip of the season when the Trojans head to Indiana on November 14. The Hoosiers were ranked No. 6 in this week’s poll.
