On Monday night, the USC men's basketball team opened up its 2026 season by easily handling Milwaukee 95-63 at Galen Center. With the victory, the Trojans opened up the 2026-2027 season 1-0.
Following the game, head coach Eric Musselman spoke to the media. In his postgame press conference, Musselman noted that despite it being the first game of the season, he is already very impressed with his team's chemistry.
"Our chemistry has been really good," Musselman said. "They're playing off each other. I think we had 198 passes tonight, so we were a couple of passes short of where we want to be, but when you have 25 assists in a college game, that's an incredible number."
Up next, USC will up head to Lake Tahoe on Sunday for a neutral site matchup with
Wichita State. Tipoff is set for 8:00 p.m. Pacific time on The CW.
