Former USC Trojan Amon-Ra St. Brown has continued to be one of the best players in the NFL since entering the league. His peers recognize and appreciate this. St. Brown continues to have his peers' respect, and he is a receiver who is still one of the most feared players for opposing defenses.
In a recent article, Jeremy Bergman takes a look at St. Brown's ranking on the NFL top 100 players list. Here is what he had to say about St. Brown coming in at the No. 22 spot.
"The Sun God shone brightly again in 2025, returning to the top 25 of the annual player ranking for the third straight year. St. Brown, in his fourth straight Pro Bowl campaign, gave Detroit more of the same: a third straight year with at least 115 catches, 1,250 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The only thing missing was another playoff appearance. Consistency is the name of the game for one of the greatest names in football, and Detroit will be happy to benefit from his play for at least the next three years. Though after signing a $120 million extension just two years ago, St. Brown is somehow now underpaid."
Amon-Ra St. Brown has been a model of consistency since being drafted by the Detroit Lions, but he continues to take another step further in his production. You take him off the Detroit Lions' offense, and it looks completely different. He is the textbook definition of a game-changer, and his value for the Lions is immeasurable. Everyone can see that across the league, but most importantly, his teammates and his opponents.
