What is the story about?

The 2026 college football season is now in full swing. But believe it or not, college basketball season is less than a month away!

This week marks Big Ten Basketball Media Days in Rosemont, Illinois. Women’s basketball players and coaches from throughout the conference will take to the podium on Wednesday, while the men will follow suit on Thursday.

The Women of Troy will be represented at media days by head coach Lindsay Gottlieb, Juju Watkins and Jazzy Davidson. The men’s team, meanwhile, will send head coach Eric Musselman, Rodney Rice, and Jacob Cofie.

Both Trojans teams enter the 2026-2027 season with high expectations. Gottlieb and the women’s team should be legitimate national title contenders, while Musselman is looking for a breakthrough

year three in Los Angeles.

Both USC men’s and women’s basketball will tip off their respective 2026-2027 campaigns on November 2.
