On Saturday, the USC football team defeated Rutgers 42-35 in Piscataway, New Jersey. With the victory, the Trojans improved to 4-0 on the season and opened Big Ten play 1-0.
On Sunday, the latest AP Poll was released. USC held firm in the rankings, remaining at No. 12.
The Trojans jumped ahead of Texas A&M, who was upset by Kentucky on Saturday. However, they were passed by Texas Tech, who defeated Houston on Friday.
USC’s next opponent, Oregon, rose one spot to No. 12. The Trojans and Ducks are set to face off this week in a massive clash.
