The Indiana Hoosiers have now won 22 straight games, and they have started the season a perfect 6-0. They are defending the national title from last season, but one thing is very clear: This team is not nearly as dominant as it was last season. Both Northwestern and Nebraska are good football teams this season; however, Indiana
could have lost to both of them. That would not have happened last year. The USC Trojans have to face the Hoosiers, UCLA Bruins, and the Ohio State Buckeyes this season. My overreaction take of the week is that the Trojans' best chance to get a win out of those three games is against the Indiana Hoosiers. The Hoosiers play the Trojans at home, but I like the Trojans' chances with this offense getting healthier.
The Trojans
proved they can win games on the road this past week. Trent Mosley is back healthy, Maiava's best weapon, and Mark Bowman is expected to be back by then. The Trojans will have the best offense in that football game. Obviously, Curt Cignetti will more than likely out-coach Lincoln Riley, but the Trojans are heating up at the right time, and the Hoosiers' defense has proved to be very gettable.
If Jayden Maiava can play just as he did this past week, and the Trojans' defense can get key stops in important moments like they have the last 2 weeks, the Trojans can knock off the defending champions.
Ohio State, however, is a team that can beat the Trojans even if USC plays a perfect game. The Bruins, too, are another team that can just be the more physical team and also score with USC. Right now, the best chance to knock off a Big Ten juggernaut is against the Hoosiers.
