Even without senior guard Caleb Foster, Duke dominated Tennessee 101-64 in an exhibition game at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday.
That’s nothing to scoff at, either, as the Volunteers will start the 2026-27 season at No. 8 in the AP Poll and No. 9 in the Coaches Poll. With one more massive exhibition against Kansas on Saturday before the season begins on Nov. 2 against Army, the Blue Devils might be at full strength.
"Caleb (Foster) has a chance of playing Sunday," Jon Scheyer said Tuesday after the game.

"Caleb (Foster) has a chance of playing Sunday."
Says he's been in Jon's ear, dying to play.
Foster suffered a small ankle injury during preseason practice and has missed both exhibitions thus far. His presence on the floor will
be critical to Duke’s hopes of bringing home the national title this season, after he averaged 8.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 33 games last season. The Harrisburg, N.C., native also typically guards the opponent’s best guard.
