Duke is exactly where it wants to be heading into the bye week: a perfect 4-0 with everyone relatively healthy.
Now, the Blue Devils find themselves at No. 21 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.
The Blue Devils used a big performance from not one but two quarterbacks on Saturday, Walker Eget and Dan Mahan, to rout William & Mary 62-7. Eget and Mahan combined to throw for 308 yards and five touchdowns, while Nate Sheppard, in limited playing time, ran for 116 yards and a touchdown.
Duke had not been ranked in the coaches poll since October of the 2023 season despite winning the ACC title last year.
Following the bye week, the Blue Devils travel to Atlanta to battle Georgia Tech.
