It's no secret that Duke produces more NBA talent than any other program, especially in recent seasons under head coach Jon Scheyer. Ahead of the 2026-27 season, two Duke alumni were chosen to promote the league in a brand new commercial. With the 2026-27 season opener less than three weeks away, Amazon Prime released an ad containing six of the league's biggest stars.
Included in that group were two former Blue Devils, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics and former No. 1 overall pick Paolo Banchero of the Orlando Magic.
Last year's NBA Finals MVP, Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), joined them, along with Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons), LaMelo Ball (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Tyrese Maxey (Philadelphia 76ers).

Tatum, who played in just 16 regular season contests a season ago after recovering from an Achilles injury, is eager to prove himself as one of the league's strongest talents following the departure of longtime teammate Jaylen Brown. As for Banchero, he and the Magic enter the 2026-27 season motivated to perform after being eliminated from playoff contention following a Game 7 loss to Detroit.
