To kick off Week 3 of the NFL season, the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons took center stage on Thursday Night Football. As the NFC rivals battled for four quarters, two former Longhorns shined for their respective teams. That duo was Matthew Golden, who boosted the Green Bay Packers' passing attack, and Bijan Robinson, who was unstoppable for the Falcons on the ground.
While the Packers offense struggled, Golden was a bright spot with a team-high 100 receiving yards on five catches. The talented 23-year-old also recorded his first regular-season touchdown and averaged 20 yards per catch. After a rookie season full of ups and downs, Golden is off to an impressive start with 253 receiving yards through three games.

As Golden frustrated the Falcons' defense, Robinson showed why he is one of the league's best running backs. On 29 carries, the Texas native had 197 rushing yards. He also caught two passes for 19 yards and played a key role as the Falcons finally got their first win of the season.
For many who have watched Robinson's career, his latest performance came as no surprise. He is one of the league's most talented players and can change the course of a game with his speed. He showed that in prime time, as the Packers' defense couldn't contain him.

Now the Longhorns duo will get some extra rest before Week 4 gets underway. Golden and the Packers will shift their focus to the Buccaneers, while Robinson and the Falcons prepare to take on the Saints. If they can mirror their Thursday night performances, the Packers and Falcons offenses will be tough to contain next week.
