President Donald Trump is expected to attend the No. 1 Texas Longhorns game at No. 13 Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, a White House official confirmed to USA TODAY. Saturday's game at Neyland Stadium will be the first college football game that Trump will attend since Indiana's win over Miami in the College Football Playoff national championship last January.
This is the SEC opener for both Texas and Tennessee. It will be the eighth college football game Trump will attend while he has been in office over his two terms. The last regular-season game he attended was Alabama vs. Georgia in 2024 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa during his presidential campaign.

reported Trump's plans to go to the game.

ESPN's "College GameDay" will also be on hand for the Longhorns first ever trip to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville. Arch Manning's Uncle Peyton Manning is also expected to attend the marquee matchup. Texas and Tennessee are set for a noon ET kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 25 in Knoxville. Fans going to the game are encouraged to get there early.
