The Longhorns have been bitten by the injury bug and there are some big names on the official SEC availability report. Several key players were hurt in Texas' 31-3 win over Mississippi State. And while there have been rumors and reports, now we know who is out and who might play.
We know offensive tackle Trevor Goosby is out for the season. EDGE Richard Wesley has been out for weeks. Now, running back Hollywood Smothers and tight end Nick Townsend are out for the game at Missouri. Smothers reportedly hurt his knee and shoulder against the Bulldogs. Townsend is a bit of a surprise.

Wide receivers Ryan Wingo and Cam Coleman were both in street clothes on the sideline by the end of the game against Hail State. But are listed as questionable. Defensive backs Kade Phillips and Graceson Littleton were also injured last Saturday night. They are also listed as questionable.
All-American EDGE Colin Simmons is also listed as questionable. Arguably the best player on the team has missed two games with a high-ankle sprain. He was also briefly listed as questionable last week, but was quickly downgraded to out. We'll see what happens this week.
