The Chargers are bringing back wide receiver Gary Jennings Jr. to the practice squad.
The team announced it on Thursday.
A few days after waiving Jennings to add Hayden Rucci, the Chargers brought the wide receiver back.
However, in a corresponding move, the Chargers waived long snapper Spencer Triplett from the practice squad a day after signing him.
The Chargers initially signed Jennings last week after placing KeAndre Lambert-Smith on injured reserve. After the Bolts dealt with a slew of injuries, particularly to their tight end room, they had no choice but to add Rucci to the roster.
That move led Los Angeles to cut ties with Jennings; however, they brought him back two days later.
As for Triplett, the rookie long snapper replaced Marquez Valdes-Scantling
on the practice squad after the Chargers elevated him to the active roster.
Triplett spent six seasons at North Carolina. Last season, his final with the Tar Heels, he was on the Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List, which recognizes the best long snapper in college football each year.
