Former Chargers undrafted cornerback Nikko Reed has signed with the Giants.
ESPN's Jordan Raanan and Kris Rhim shared the news via X.
Reed signed with the Giants from the team's practice squad and was activated to New York's active roster.
The 23-year-old signed with the Bolts as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL Draft.
Reed made five appearances with the Chargers in 2025 and recorded two tackles. Before the end of the 2025 season, Reed was placed on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury.
After making the 2025 roster, Reed was waived by the Chargers and re-signed to the practice squad in late August of this year.
Before the Chargers, Reed played his college ball at Colorado and Oregon. In four college seasons, Reed recorded 115 tackles,
eight tackles for loss, five interceptions, 22 passes defended and two sacks in 49 games, 21 with Colorado and 28 with Oregon.
