The Chargers made a signing less than 24 hours after Sunday’s loss to the Rams, their seventh straight loss of the season.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schlutz, the Bolts have signed cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis.
Armour-Davis, 27, worked out for the team a month ago as they checked his progress after a torn Achilles injury late last season.
General manager Joe Hortiz is familiar with Armour-Davis, as he was with the Ravens organization when the team drafted the cornerback in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Armour-Davis spent the first three seasons of his career with the Ravens. He played in 19 games, recording 20 tackles, one tackle for loss, and two passes defended.
Before the 2025 season, the Ravens waived Armour-Davis in final roster
cuts. A day later, the Titans claimed him off waivers and named him the starting cornerback by Week 3. In 11 games, Armour-Davis recorded 34 tackles, one tackle for loss, and two passes defended.
Armour-Davis started in 10 games for the Titans before he tore his Achilles in a Week 17 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
The 27-year-old played his college ball at Alabama.
