The Chargers are set to cut their roster from 90 to 53 as the preseason comes to an end.
Some tough decisions will need to be made between now and then, and one area the Chargers may need to bolster is the interior of their offensive line. As the 2026 season approaches, the interior of their offensive line remains a huge question mark, as it was one of the worst position groups last season.
The Chargers' interior line is once again at the focal point, and CBS Sports' Josh Edwards named that position group as one they should address in the upcoming roster deadline.

As for the left guard spot, the Chargers had a hotly contested battle among a handful of players, with Kayode Awosika likely to win that job. For the right guard spot, it will be Cole Strange starting.
It's crucial for the Chargers to add depth to avoid the struggles they faced last season. A couple of names the Bolts could target for their interior line are Giants' Evan Neal and Bills' Lloyd Cushenberry, who are among notable interior offensive linemen who could potentially be cut ahead of the season.
