The Chargers will be without eight players for Sunday's contest against the Broncos, the team announced on Friday.
Those players are offensive linemen Joe Alt (neck), Trevor Penning (concussion) and Kayode Awosika (fibula), wide receiver Brenen Thompson (quad), wide receiver Quentin Johnston (chest), cornerback Donte Jackson (hamstring), and safety Derwin James Jr. (hamstring), all of whom have been ruled out.
Quarterback Trey Lance (groin) is listed as doubtful.
With Johnston and Thompson out and Ladd McConkey (foot) questionable, the Chargers will lean on Tre' Harris, Derius Davis, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling as quarterback Justin Herbert's wide receivers.
Tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm), tight end/fullback Scott Matlock, offensive lineman
Branson Taylor (neck), and cornerback Rodney Shelley (hamstring) are also questionable.
