Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh shared that cornerback Donte Jackson has entered concussion protocol.
Jackson exited Sunday's contest against the Bills due to a head injury. The team was evaluating Jackson and initially listed him as questionable to return.
The 30-year-old suffered the injury in the first half and was ruled out for the second half. Rodney Shelley replaced Jackson.
It's unclear how long Jackson will be in concussion protocol. In the meantime, we can expect Cam Hart and Tarheeb Still to see more action in the Chargers' upcoming Week 4 matchup against the Seahawks.
Jackson has been solid in Los Angeles' first three games of the season. The cornerback has recorded seven tackles, one tackle for loss, and two passes defended.
He is in
his second season with the Chargers after starting his career with the Panthers and a brief stint with the Steelers.
The former second-round pick is in the final year of his current two-year, $13 million deal with the Chargers.
