Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston has had a rough start to the season, and it hit a new low on Sunday in their loss to the Bills.
Johnston had yet another costly drop. After the game, Johnston spoke candidly about it.
"Obviously some stuff at the end of the game I feel like I could have did better. I think we all seen that, but sometimes it's just hard to take," Johnston said.
"You work week in and week out so hard for a certain thing and it goes a different way. Obviously not the way that you wanted to, but it's not always going to, so I just got to keep my head up is kind of what he was telling me."

The drop occurred with a little over five minutes
left in the fourth quarter on a 3rd & 10. Herbert found Johnston wide open along the sideline, placing it right on the numbers, but he couldn't complete the pass.
After the game, Johnston was visibly upset. ESPN's Kris Rhim noted that fellow wide receiver Tre' Harris tried to cheer up Johnston as they were headed to the locker room.
Johnston has had a miserable start to the season. In the first three games, he's caught only six passes on 16 targets for 64 yards. His longest completion came for 21 yards.
Three of his total six receptions came on Sunday against the Bills.
Johnston is in his fourth season in the league, and the drop issues continue to be a factor.
Earlier in the offseason, the Chargers exercised the fifth-year option for Johnston, a move that now keeps the wide receiver in Los Angeles for the next two seasons.
Johnston has shown flashes of what he can be, but that potential has yet to translate on the field.
