The Chargers have elevated cornerback Isas Waxter ahead of their Week 2 match against the Raiders.
The team shared the news via X.
The move comes a day after the Chargers listed cornerback Elijah Molden out with a hamstring injury. In Week 1, Molden recorded five tackles in the loss ot the Cardinals.
Waxter has been with the Chargers' practice squad since the start of the month. He will now suit up for Sunday's matchup against Las Vegas.
Waxter has been with the Chargers since January 2026. He signed a futures contract and spent the entire offseason in Los Angeles.
Waxter has been with the Chargers organization since September 2025. He's spent most of his time with the team's practice squad.
The New Jersey native played his college ball at Villanova.
In his final season, Waxter earned second-team All-CAA honors.
Waxter started in 13 games and had 26 tackles, four tackles for loss, three interceptions and eight pass breakups.
Although Waxter is on the Chargers roster, he may be used as a depth piece.
