Chargers veteran edge rusher Khalil Mack has been linked to two NFC contenders after the team's 0-2 start.
Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report listed 10 players on the NFL trade block entering Week 3, naming Mack as one of them.
Knox named the Lions and Bears as potential suitors.
"Edge-rusher Khalil Mack will be a logical trade chip if the Chargers slide out of contention," Knox wrote.
"He's 35, is playing on a one-year deal, and is still valuable as a rotational pass-rusher."
The Chargers are off to a terrible start to the season, and their schedule does them no favors. If Los Angeles continues down this path, Mack could end up on the trade block.
Mack, 35, is playing on a one-year deal worth $18 million. There's also a chance that this could be
Mack's final playing season.
He mulled over retiring this past offseason and has said he wants to make a deep playoff run and win a Super Bowl. As things stand, the Chargers are far from that.
The Bears and Lions could use all the help they can get in the pass rush department. Chicago desperately needs players who could generate more pressure on opposing quarterbacks, and Detroit could use some more help outside of Aidan Hutchinson.
Knox said the Chargers could receive a conditional 2027 fourth-round pick if they decide to trade Mack.
