The Chargers have signed undrafted running back Greg Desrosiers Jr. to their practice squad.
Desrosiers was a standout in the preseason finale against the Rams. Despite that, Desrosiers did not make the initial 53-man roster cuts on Sunday.
However, the Chargers did their part in retaining Desrosiers and will continue to be part of the organization.
Desrosiers made his presence known in a big way in the team's final preseason game. He recorded 118 yards on the ground in only nine carries and one touchdown. His longest run of the night came on a 34-yard rushing touchdown.
The Chargers are entering the 2026 season with three running backs on the roster, led by Omarion Hampton, Keaton Mitchell, and Kimani Vidal. With only three running backs on the roster, there
is a chance the Chargers could activate Desrosiers at some point this season.
Los Angeles also added cornerback Nikko Reed to the practice squad.
Reed was another player who did not make the initial 53-man roster. The 23-year-old went undrafted in 2025 and made the roster last season.
Reed made only five appearances last season, recording two tackles.
Desrosiers and Reed have a chance at getting some playing time in 2026.
