The Chargers' 2026 season has been far from ideal.
Los Angeles is off to a 0-4 start, with their most recent loss coming against the Seahawks on Sunday, 30-23. The Chargers had a great chance to tie the game, but the pesky Seattle defense had other plans.
The Chargers are in a rough spot, and that includes head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Sunday's loss puts the Chargers' losing streak at seven, dating back to last season.
Those seven consecutive losses mark Harbaugh's longest losing streak in his collegiate and NFL head coaching career.
The last time Harbaugh had a seven-game losing streak (or more) was in 2000, his final season as a player when the Chargers went 1-15 in the season.
Harbaugh spent two seasons with the Chargers, playing in 21 games with 17
starts. He went 6-11 over two seasons and threw for 4,177 passing yards.
As for his time as head coach, Harbaugh's first two seasons were great. He's led the Chargers to a 22-12 record; however, the end of the 2025 season and into 2026 have been night and day.
Harbaugh has led the Chargers to a 3-7 record in their last 10 games. The last time the Chargers won a meaningful game was on December 21, 2025, against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Chargers will head back home for their Week 5 contest against the Denver Broncos.
