The Los Angeles Rams are back at work following their Week 7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, as they prepare to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. They overcame multiple injuries, particularly on defense, putting forth a dominant showing.
Now, as they transition to Week 8, the hope from the fan base is that some of the injured players will be making their return soon. On Monday, head coach Sean McVay spoke to reporters about the statuses of star defender Myles Garrett and tight end Terrance Ferguson. Both are eligible to come off injured reserve, but McVay told reporters that the team has yet to make a decision on opening their practice windows.
The Rams have not made a determination yet on whether or not to open the practice windows for Myles
Garrett or Terrance Ferguson, per Sean McVay.

The reason behind the lack of a decision is that McVay hadn't spoken to Director of Sports Medicine Reggie Scott before his presser. According to the OC Register's Adam Grosbard, McVay and the Rams could still open their practice windows.
He said he has not spoken with Reggie Scott yet, so it could be as soon as later today. But McVay won't speak to us again until Wednesday. https://t.co/CfeZFLuE5X

If and when the Rams open their practice windows, they'll have three weeks to decide if they'll activate them off injured reserve or keep them on injured reserve for the rest of the season.
Garrett played only one game this season before undergoing knee surgery, while Ferguson featured in three games before suffering a high ankle sprain.
