The Los Angeles Rams acquired Myles Garrett in a blockbuster trade in June, but they've barely seen him on the field since then. He missed most of training camp with lower-body soreness, which turned into a knee injury that eventually required surgery after Week 1 in Australia.
Garrett has missed the last eight games while on injured reserve, but he's slated to return today against the Washington Commanders
.Here's the latest on the Rams' star pass rusher.
Is Myles Garrett playing today?
Sean McVay said on Friday that barring any setbacks, Garrett is expected to play against the Commanders. He did not practice on Friday, but McVay said that was more about managing his workload than the knee injury.
On Saturday, the Rams activated Garrett from injured reserve, adding him to the active
roster. With that in mind, he's almost certain to play today.
We'll find out his official status when the Rams release inactives 90 minutes before kickoff at 11:30 a.m. ET, but unless there was an unexpected setback, he will be active and will play. It will be his first game since Week 1, and his first contest with Aaron Donald also on the field with him.
