The Los Angeles Rams were hit harshly by the injury bug this week, as Davante Adams and Kobie Turner are set to miss some time, while Poona Ford and Blake Grupe were lost for the season. On top of the bad news, NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett isn't ready to return, and the team won't even open up his three-week return window.
On Tuesday, the team learned even tougher news as rising tight end Terrance Ferguson, who could come off injured reserve next week, will not be activated when first eligible. His recovery is expected to continue and "take some time," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Ferguson played in the team's first three games of the year before being forced to exit in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos after spraining his ankle.
He was supposed to be a major part of the Rams' multi-personnel offense, but now Ferguson is set to miss at least five games. He has seven receptions for 63 yards and one touchdown in 2026.
