Sean McVay has talked countless times about the number of leaders the Los Angeles Rams have on their roster this year, and that’s very evident in the number of captains they elected. On Monday night, the Rams announced they will have 11 captains this season, which is four more than they had last year and more than double their total (5) from 2024.
There are five captains on offense, five on defense and one on special teams, so there will be a lot of “C” patches on Rams jerseys this season.
With it being such a jarring number, social media poked fun at the Rams and dunked on them. Among those who called out the team were fans, analysts and even former players.
