Since being drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 2023, wide receiver Puka Nacua has been one of the NFL's best playmakers, repeatedly putting in stellar performances in the biggest moments.
What separates Nacua from his counterparts is his ability to make plays even when draped with defenders. His unique skill set has been the perfect fit for the Sean McVay offense, being the locomotive behind Matthew Stafford's late-career success. On Sunday, Nacua recorded six receptions for 80 yards on just seven targets in the Rams' loss to Arizona, doing everything he could to put the offense on his back in the fourth quarter.
According to the Rams' PR team, Nacua's total pushed him past Michael Thomas' record for the most receptions through a player's first
50 career regular-season games.

Since returning from injury, Nacua has been on a run. In his last three games, the All-Pro pass catcher has put up 32 catches for 343 receiving yards and a touchdown. Having been one of the driving forces behind their comeback following slow starts in 2023 and 2024, Los Angeles hopes he is able to do the same this time around.
The Rams currently sit at 2-4 on the season, tied for last place in the NFC West. The Rams are 0-2 this year against divisional opponents, with their only two wins coming against the NFC East.
