The Los Angeles Rams aren't ready to give up on Tutu Atwell just yet. After letting him leave in free agency this offseason, the Rams are bringing him back to L.A.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Rams have traded running back Jarquez Hunter to the Dolphins in exchange for Atwell. Atwell signed a one-year, $1.4 million deal with the Dolphins in March and now returns to the team that drafted him five years ago.
Hunter had been fighting for a roster spot but now gets an opportunity to contribute with the Dolphins, who could use depth behind De'Von Achane. The Rams drafted Hunter in the fourth round in 2025, so he was entering his second year with the team.

In five seasons with the Rams, Atwell caught 105 passes for 1,535 yards and five touchdowns. His best season came in 2023 when he started 14 games and finished with 483 yards on 39 catches and a career-high three touchdowns.
He also had 16 rush attempts for 72 yards and one touchdown in his five years with the Rams.
