The Los Angeles Rams made it through the offseason without any major injuries, but they're getting hit with some serious losses right now. Sean McVay shared a litany of injury updates on Monday after the team's Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, all of which are highly concerning for the Rams.
Davante Adams, Poona Ford, Kobie Turner and Blake Grupe all got injured in the game and will miss extended time, ranging from a few weeks to the rest of the season. When it rains, it pours, and it is torrential in Los Angeles right now.
Here's a full list of injury updates from McVay following Monday's press conference.
- Davante Adams: Out 6-10 weeks with ruptured hamstring
- Poona Ford: Out for season with ruptured triceps
- Kobie Turner: Out "handful of weeks" with groin injury
- Blake Grupe: Out for season with torn ACL
- Myles Garrett: Won't return to practice this week
- Trent McDuffie: Progressing but uncertain for Week 7
The Rams will face the Raiders on Sunday and won't have a bye until Week 11. Their schedule is favorable in the next few weeks but at
2-4, they can't afford to keep losing games.
They'll be extremely shorthanded in the coming weeks so their depth will be tested in a big way.
